Company Background
HistoryThe company began operations in 1990, as an authorised distributor for Allen-Bradley (now Rockwell Automation) based in Geelong, and serving Ballarat, the southern and western districts of Victoria. Demand for quality engineering services led to the creation of two subsidiary companies: Westcoast Industrial Controls - a distributor of quality automation products throughout Victoria. Integrated Automation - an engineering 'systems integration' business specialising in the fields of industrial automation, process and motor control. All companies operate out of Victoria Street, Geelong. Westcost Industrial Controls has an additional office in Laverton North, while Integrated Automation also has offices in Laverton North, Dandenong, Warrnambool and Sydney.
Who We Are TodayIntegrated Automation designs, develops, builds, installs, programs, commissions and maintains control systems that automate processes and plant so that they operate more effectively, with lower cost and improved quality. Through innovative application of process control, data capture, data manipulation and data presentation our solutions work from the plant floor to the board room. We use proven technology partners to lay a strong foundation for developing robust systems with flexibility to meet today's and tomorrow's markets. Our methodical design and testing process means implementation runs smoothly during the critical commissioning phase and has proved resilient to the Therapeutic Goods Administration applications.
